Good Reads
There is more treasure in books than in all the pirate's loot on Treasure Island.

Welcome to Good Reads!
"What should I read?" As library staff and booklovers ourselves, we know how much we appreciate book recommendations from trusted sources. That's why we've developed Good Reads - to help you find books you'll enjoy.
With Good Reads, we've done the work for you. Here you'll find more than 20 e-newsletters highlighting titles in specific categories, including new titles just added to the Monona Library. Subscribe to the categories of interest and on a regular basis you'll receive e-mail notification of new titles in those categories. And not just titles - we give you a peek at the book jacket, a brief description of each title and a direct link from the e-newsletter to the library catalog to place a hold on titles you'd like us to reserve for you. Prefer RSS feed to e-mail? We do that, too.
But Good Reads is more than e-newsletters. Go behind the books to meet the Authors - we have biographies and interviews with more than 1500 authors. Learning more about an author can truly enhance your reading experience. Or choose a "good read" from our authoritative New York Times bestseller list or our more than 80 other bestseller and award list for adults, teens and children.
Goods Reads has something for everyone. You can listen to a good book or receive an e-mail about a new book every morning. And you can read reviews and go behind the scenes with Book Buzz, an online version of the popular BookPage®, America's Book Review.
Let the Monona Public Library help you find your next "good read"…with Good Reads!
